Doctor in Medicine by Granada University, was involved in research from 1992-96 obtaining his PhD in Obstetrics and Medicine two years after achieving the degree of specialist in obstetrics and gynecology (residency at Granada University Regional Hospital. 1990-94). During his two years stage at King’s College London University Hospital as Research Fellow he was trained in Fetal Medicine and Ultrasound skills acquiring expertise qualification. Also he was trained in endoscopic technics (Hysteroscopy and Laparoscopic surgery) (1994-96).
During his extensive professional career was in charge of the Fetal Medicine Unit at Granada University Hospital throughout a decade (1996-2006) after which he was named Head of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department at Quiron Marbella Hospital (former USP) until 2018.
Currently he is attending patients and involved in the management of GOLDEN Clinic Marbella.
